My business partner, Kate Yachini and I decided to head out to Latitude Margaritaville to see firsthand this “happening” community. The models were officially opened on June 30th, with more than 2500 people attending the celebration.
Part of the attraction is the fun vibe of this active adult community. Although there were likely some “Parrotheads” in the group, others were simply attracted to the colorful homes and casual lifestyle that will be offered here.
Lake Latitude Club plans include a resort style pool complete with sandy beach, a fitness center, and I wouldn’t want to forget the party room. A theater is also planned with flex space that can be used for a variety of events. Did I mention there will be live music? Of course, that is an essential ingredient for a community that has Margaritaville as its name.
The model homes will dazzle with open, well thought out floor plans, lots of windows, fresh colors, outdoor space, and upscale features. There is everything from attached 2 family villas to larger homes with 3 car garages. The extra garage will be handy as residents will be using golf carts as a frequent mode of transportation.
While the first phase includes 203 homesites, there will be 3,000 at buildout. Sales are going very well, especially since the models have opened. Villa prices begin at approximately $250,000 and homes at just under $300,000. Minto Communities is the construction partner in Latitude and offers some great plans and numerous options for interested buyers.
