Palmetto Hall is a private, 750-acre residential community located next to Hilton Head Plantation on Hilton Head Island, SC. Homes and home site are located predominantly along either the Arthur Hills or Robert Cupp golf courses. Both golf courses allow public play.

The Neighborhood

The feeling throughout the plantation is lush and spacious. Virtually all homes back up on a golf course. Over 200 acres are devoted to natural wetlands, preserves, and lagoons. At build out only 500 homes are planned.

The Clubhouse - A 14,000 square-foot, members-only clubhouse is available to residents of Palmetto Hall. It includes a member’s only lounge, private dining and card rooms plus a pro shop and club dining room.

The Golf Courses of Palmetto Hall Plantation

Legendary designer Arthur Hills created Palmetto Hall’s first course, a gracefully sculpted masterpiece rated one of the nation's "Top Ten New Resort Course" in 1991 and one of Hilton Head Island's "Top Three Layouts" by Golf Magazine.

Arthur Hills Course - This is the newer course on Hilton Head Island by noted designer and it is every bit as testing as its big brother at Palmetto Dunes. Hills has made effective use of the meandering marshes and wetlands.

Robert Cupp Course - This course has been publicized since its opening in the mid-90`s for its unique geometric shaped bunkers and mounds. This is a course that requires a yardage book and pinpoint shot placement. It is rated as one of the toughest courses in the area from the back tees with a slope of 140. The golfer must look closely at the pitch of many fairways to avoid hazards through excessive roll.
